<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic money settlement device for a taxi wherein a useless retrial is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic money settlement device for the taxi in an electronic money settlement system wherein the electronic money settlement device loaded in the taxi and an electronic money center communicate with each other to perform settlement by electronic money includes: a start processing part transmitting a start processing request to the electronic money center and performing start processing; a start processing decision part deciding whether the start processing is normally completed; a storage part storing information representing whether status of the taxi is first status representing that a customer having got in the taxi is in a state of performing payment or second status representing that the customer is in a state except the payment based on an input instruction; and a start processing management part newly performing the start processing when the stored status is the second status when the start processing is not normally completed, and not performing the start processing when the stored status is the first status. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
