The generator (1) has rectifier (4) that is provided with rectifier cell (41) and heat radiating fin (42) fixed to frame (5). The fin has ribs (43) which are lined up sequentially in radial direction with respect to rotating shaft (32) of rotor (3). A metal rear cover (6) has air inlet openings (61) on radially outer side of ribs for receiving cooling air. The cooling air is flowed along ribs from radially outer to inner sides of rectifier cell, when cooling fan (33) rotates, and is flowed in air flow space formed on radially inner side of ribs in direction of fan. |
