[Problem] To provide an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protector which can take an arbitrary shape and serve as an easy ESD countermeasures for circuit boards with various designs or other various electronic devices, and which exhibits excellent operating properties at discharging even in a case where the discharge gap is wide, and which enables downsizing and cost reduction; and to provide a composition for filling a discharge gap, said composition being usable in producing the ESD protector. [Solution] This composition for filling a discharge gap is characterized in that: the composition comprises a metal powder (A1), an aluminum powder (A2) and a binder component (B); the surfaces of the metal primary particles constituting the metal powder (A1) are at least partially covered with a film made of a metal alkoxide hydrolyzate; and the surfaces of the aluminum primary particles constituting the aluminum powder (A2) are not covered with a film made of a metal alkoxide hydrolyzate. |
