<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely execute write control of variable resistance elements and suppress variations between the elements, in relatively small circuit scale.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device includes: a first power supply terminal; a variable resistance element whose resistance value becomes either a first resistance value or a second resistance value that is greater than the first resistance value according to current flowing through itself; a first switch circuit that is provided between the first power supply terminal and one end of the variable resistance element; and a control circuit that controls the first switch circuit. When changing the variable resistance element from the second resistance value to the first resistance value, the control circuit detects an increase in a value of current flowing through the first switch circuit and brings the first switch circuit into a disconnected state.</p> |
