<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following fault: in a conventional automobile, since carbon monoxide flows backward into the inside of an automobile when an exhaust port of an exhaust pipe ejecting the carbon monoxide that is a toxic substance is closed by snow, water or the like, a person present inside the automobile sucks the carbon monoxide into the body, which has often led to the occurrence of a major accident to impair health or lose life.SOLUTION: A sensor detects carbon monoxide immediately when the carbon monoxide flows backward into the inside of an automobile; the sensor operates a carbon monoxide alarm device; and the carbon monoxide alarm device emits loud sound or a human phrase, and simultaneously warns a driver or a fellow passenger of the backflow of the carbon monoxide by characters on a liquid crystal screen of a car navigation system or the like. When the driver or the fellow passenger has listened an alarm or read the warning displayed on the liquid crystal screen of the car navigation system or the like, the driver or the fellow passenger immediately stops an engine, opens windows of the automobile to discharge the carbon monoxide having flowed backward into the inside of the automobile to outside of the automobile and to take fresh air of the outside into the automobile, and thereby preventing serious danger of health hazard or loss of life of the driver or the fellow passenger.</p> |
