<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate axial displacement of a fixing belt without damaging a side edge of the fixing belt.SOLUTION: At each of both ends of a shaft 311 of a fixing roller 31, a regulation member 35 is fixed for regulating the fixing belt 31A from being displaced in a rotation axis 31S direction. The regulation member 35 includes an annular regulation surface 35R facing a side edge 31E in a belt width direction of the fixing belt 31A. The regulation surface 35R is a plane inclined by an angleθwith respect to a vertical line L orthogonal to the rotation axis S, in a cross-sectional view parallel with the rotation axis 31S. The inclination comes close to the longitudinal center of the shaft 311 as it goes from the rotation axis 31S toward the radial outside of the fixing roller 31. The regulation surface 35R regulates radial displacement as well as axial displacement of the side edge 31E. The inclination prevents the side edge 31E from being in friction with the regulation surface 35R.</p> |
