PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having improved initial and after-aging adhesiveness to a metallic reinforcement cord, excellent in hardness and heat generation property and durability after long term use, and a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition manufactured by blending 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber, 0.1 to 10 pts.mass of a cobalt salt and at least one kind selected from edetic acid salt and gluconate of 1 to 800 mol% based on the cobalt salt, and there is also provided a pneumatic tire by burying a metallic reinforcement cord in the rubber composition and using the same. |
