PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser processing device capable of detecting the presence of wire breaking in a laser beam-transmitting fiber by monitoring the condition of the laser beam-transmitting fiber itself.SOLUTION: A photodetection device 46 is provided to enable receiving a detecting light which is incident from one edge face 20b of a second optical fiber 20 and emits from the other edge face 20a of the second optical fiber 20 and detects the presence of receiving the detecting light. Thereby, a laser processing device 10 enables monitoring the condition of the second optical fiber 20 itself on the basis of the presence of light receiving by the photodetection device 46. As a result, the presence of wire breaking in the second optical fiber 20 can be detected. |
