PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pellet made from inorganic fiber-containing aromatic amide resin excellent in mechanical strength and insulation characteristic.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an inorganic fiber-containing resin pellet containing glass fibers as inorganic fibers at a ratio of 70-500 pts.mass, based on 100 pts.mass of aromatic amide resin, includes: a kneading extruding step 1 of kneading and extruding a composition containing at least the inorganic fibers and the resin by a kneading device; a cooling step 2 of cooling a string-like product extruded in the kneading extruding step 1; a pelletizing step 3 of forming the string-like product cooled in the cooling step 2 into a pellet of a prescribed length; a drying step 5 of drying the pellet obtained in the pelletizing step 3; and a selecting step 6 of selecting the pellet dried in the drying step. The selecting step is a step of selection-removing, by magnet, the pellet containing equal to or more than a prescribed amount of metal components. |
