Provided is a system for detecting a vehicle, capable of collecting location information of a vehicle to be searched in real time. The system comprises: a vehicle blackbox including a vehicle license recognizing module and a vehicle license transmitting module to transmit a vehicle license number of a vehicle ahead displayed in the frontside to a relevant institute server during a drive; and the relevant institute server including a search module to compare a vehicle license database where a vehicle license number to be searched is recorded with the transmitted vehicle license number to be searched. According to the present invention, location information of a vehicle to be searched can be found in real time by using a blackbox mounted in a general vehicle driven to head for a destination, thereby promptly detecting the vehicle through random vehicle detection on a road and saving energy by not separately operating a vehicle for arrest. |
