PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently extracting an alkyl imidazole compound from an aqueous solution containing an alkyl imidazole compound.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for extracting an alkyl imidazole compound from an aqueous solution containing an alkyl imidazole compound by using a heterocyclic compound as an extraction agent for an aqueous solution containing an alkyl imidazole compound. The alkyl imidazole compound is a useful compound as an intermediate of a pharmaceutical product, an agricultural chemical, a functional material and the like. |
