REDUCTANT DELIVERY UNIT FOR AUTOMOTIVE SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION WITH REDUCING AGENT HEATING

A reducing agent distribution unit for post-processing of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of a car includes a solenoid operated fluid injector which is combined with an exhaust gas flow path in the upstream of an SCR catalyst converter. The fluid injector has a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The fluid inlet stores a source of a reducing agent. The fluid outlet communicates with the exhaust gas flow path so that the fluid injector can control the injection of a urea solution toward the inside of the exhaust gas flow path. The fluid injector has an inlet tube for making the reducing agent head for a space between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. A shield is fixated to the fluid injector and surrounds at least part of the fluid injector. A coil heater is integrated with the fluid injector, and performs induction heating on the inlet tube when activated in order to heat the reducing agent inside the inlet tube.
