PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for hot forging a disc-shaped material using rotary forging, which can prevent a surface flaw of a material to be forged and a defect such as thickness deviation by reliably controlling positional deviation of a central axis of the material to be forged during forging.SOLUTION: In the method for hot forging a disc-shaped material, a diesinking surface is formed at least in a working plane of an upper die 1 in the upper die 1 and a lower die 6, a central axis of the upper die 1 includes a protruded part 2, a protrusion 3 is extended in an outer peripheral direction of the upper die 1 from the protruded part 2, and a recess 4 is provided on both sides of the protrusion 3. A material 5 to be forged is forged by the upper die 1 while the material 5 to be forged is rotated each time being pressed. |
