IMAGE REWRITE DEVICE AND IMAGE REWRITE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the increase of a processing delay and a hardware use volume when rewriting a part of an original image having pixels transmitted in order of raster scan.SOLUTION: An image rewrite method is applicable to an image rewrite device for rewriting the part of the original image having the pixels transmitted in order of raster scan by a rewrite image. The image rewrite device includes a pixel rewrite unit 12 for inputting each pixel of the original image in order of the raster scan, counting the pixel count of the input pixels from the first pixel of the original image, and rewriting the pixel value of each input pixel into the pixel value of the rewrite image to output when the count value corresponds to the pixel of the rewrite image.
