<p>An apparatus for steering and controlling a water-jet propulsion device which improves steering stabilization by having a feedback signal, which is used to steer a turn-steering cylinder and a thrust-reversing cylinder, duplexed is disclosed. The disclosed apparatus for steering and controlling a water-jet propulsion device, which is provided to generate propulsion for a ship by spraying fluid, comprises: a steering displacement sensor which generates a displacement- detecting control signal and a displacement-detecting display signal by detecting the steering displacement of a steering device for turning and thrust-reversing a ship; and a control unit which uses the displacement-detecting control signal, which is generated from the steering displacement sensor, as a feedback signal to steer the steering device and which controls the steering operation of the steering device by replacing the displacement-detecting display signal with the feedback signal when the displacement-detecting control signal is in an abnormal state.
