PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible copper-clad laminate sheet excellent in terms of flexibility based on a simple methodology using a pair of hot press rolls.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a flexible copper-clad laminate sheet including a hot pressing step of heating and pressing a laminate (B) of a copper foil (A) and a polyimide film, etc. by using hot press rolls and a reheating step, the polyimide layer of the laminate (B) consists of a plurality of polyimide layers including a thermoplastic polyimide layer (ii) as an adhesive layer. The relation of the diffraction intensity (I) of the (200) plane of the copper foil (A) ascertained via X-ray diffraction along the thickness direction thereof after the hot pressing step and the diffraction intensity (Io) of the (200) plane of fine powdery copper ascertained via X-ray diffraction is induced to satisfy I/Io>100 by setting the laminating temperature T1 of the hot pressing step at or above the glass transition point of the thermoplastic polyimide layer (ii) and the heating temperature T2 at the reheating step at or above T1.
