receiving metadata values and an identification of corresponding predefined metadata fields to be associated with the metadata values; populating the identified predefined metadata fields with the received metadata values to form the metadata template; and storing the formed metadata template in an electronic database, the metadata values of the metadata template providing default metadata values for the non-DICOM electronic healthcare document to be submitted to the electronic repository. |
