<p>The present invention provides a security context handling method and apparatus, the method comprising: determining the migration of a current state from a first standard standby to a second standard standby; generating a terminal-side security context under a second standard standby state according to the security context parameters of a first standard standby state; sending request information to a network side, the request information carrying identification information for identifying the migration of an terminal from the first standard standby to the second standard standby, and check information for checking the terminal-side security context; and the network side determining the security context for data transmission according to the identification information and the check information; through the present invention, the problems of low security, low migration efficiency and impacts upon network performances during a standard migration among multimode standard terminals are solved, and further, the effects of reducing the possibility of illegal users or illegal network invasions and ensuring the continuity of terminal and network security functions are achieved.</p> |
