PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slag monitor apparatus which prevents clogging of slag into the detection tip of a pressure measurement portion (pressure gage) by supplying a liquid to the vicinity of a high-pressure-side pressure measurement portion in a coal gasification installation and detects deposition of and blockage by slag appropriately.SOLUTION: A slag monitor apparatus includes a low-pressure-side pressure measurement portion for measuring a pressure on the low-pressure side of a slag storage portion in which slag can be piled, a high-pressure-side pressure measurement portion for measuring a pressure on the high-pressure-side of the slag storage portion, a liquid supply portion which supplies a liquid to the vicinity of the high-pressure-side pressure measurement portion, and a detection portion which detects an accumulation state of slag on the basis of a pressure difference between the high-pressure-side pressure measured after the liquid supply portion supplies a liquid and the low-pressure-side pressure. |
