The present invention relates to a radar system which is suitable for locating asparagus plants and other plants which are largely in the soil and then for determining a corresponding topography and/or tomography. Control signals are generated on the basis of the determined topography or tomography, which control signals are suitable for controlling different machines, such as, in particular, harvesters and irrigating or fertiliser-spreading machines, and thus enabling an efficient and plant-protecting harvest and efficient plant growth. The control signal can also be used to control a wide variety of signalling apparatuses, as a result of which it is possible to signal to a user how growth is proceeding and whether there is possibly a need for fertilization or irrigation. |
