The present invention relates to a gas distribution apparatus for a gas cutter. More particularly, the gas distribution apparatus includes: an oxygen introducing part to feed oxygen in order to generate a cutting flame; a gas introducing part to feed gas in order to generate the cutting flame; an oxygen discharging part communicating with the oxygen introducing part to discharge a portion of the introduced oxygen; a gas discharging part communicating with the gas introducing part to discharge the introduced gas; a driving-feeding part communicating with the oxygen introducing part to feed a remaining portion of the introduced oxygen to an air motor; and a feed-switch part to feed the oxygen, which is fed from the driving-feeding part, to one of the first or second passages of the air motor while discharging the oxygen to the other passage, and to switch a passage to the first passage or the second passage for the feeding of the oxygen. As described above, according to the present invention, amounts of oxygen and gas to be fed to generate the cutting flame are adjusted for the feeding thereof, so that the size of the cutting flame and the temperature of the cutting flame can be adjusted. A portion of the oxygen is distributed and fed to the air motor, and then re-fed for the generation of the cutting flame again, using it as a driving source of the air motor. In addition, the oxygen can be selectively fed to the air motor, so that the rotational force of the air motor can be generated in one direction or an opposite direction, thereby improving the work efficiency. |
