<p>Provided is a thin and long planar light source member by which yield is not deteriorated in a backlight assembly step, assembly failures are not generated, light use efficiency of backlight is not deteriorated, and a semi-transmissive liquid crystal display device having excellent display characteristics can be manufactured. A planar light source member (1) is composed of a planar light source element (3), which has at least one light outputting means (3a) and a thin-board-like light guide body (3b), and an optical film layer (2). The light guide body (3b) has at least a long plastic film, and an optical film layer (2) is formed on a light outputting surface of the planar light source element (3) with an adhesive layer (4) therebetween.</p> |
