<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning environmental water, which reduces concentrations of SS (suspended solid), entire nitrogen and entire phosphorus, as well as COD (chemical oxygen demand) and BOD (biological oxygen demand), particularly stably reduces COD, important as an index of the contamination degree of environmental water, for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The first cleaning material mainly comprising carbon fibers and the second cleaning material which is a combination of carbon and iron materials are simultaneously immersed in the environmental water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
