<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface device that allows a user to perform intuitive manipulation on a touch panel so as to execute various operations of a target on a screen. <P>SOLUTION: A user interface device of the present invention includes: target determination means for determining a target to be manipulated that is displayed in a virtual space or assumed to exist in the virtual space, in accordance with the touch position of a finger; operation determination means for determining a displacement amount of the determined target in a depth direction in accordance with the magnitude of pressing force by the finger; and operation control means for displacing the determined target by the determined displacement amount in the depth direction.
