A luminous object shaping structure which helps a user to shape a flexible bar like luminous object 90 (such as an LED light bar and an optical fibre) into various shapes or configurations is claimed. The structure includes a carrying board 10 with at least one peg 20 and which defines a first and a second planar surface. The carrying board includes through holes 13 extending through the first and second planar surfaces. The luminous object is allowed to extend through the through holes and curve and wrap on the peg in such a way that the luminous object is retained in position by the through holes and the peg. Thus, a desired shape (for example a character or a letter) can be formed through one continuous extended and curved luminous object. One surface may have a plurality of internal walls 141 that, together with the external walls 142, form retention channels 15. The carrying boards may have coupling and mating portions [fig. 7; 16, 17] so that one board can be connected to another. |
