<p>A polyrotaxane and/or crosslinked polyrotaxane which can be stably dispersed or dissolved in a multi-component dispersion medium; and a composition which comprises a multi-component dispersion medium and a polyrotaxane and/or crosslinked polyrotaxane. In the composition comprising a polyrotaxane and a multi-component dispersion medium, the polyrotaxane comprises: a pseudo-polyrotaxane constituted of cyclic molecules and a linear molecule with which the cyclic molecules are pierced at opening parts thereof to form a clathrate; and blocking groups disposed at both ends of the pseudo-polyrotaxane so as not to release the cyclic molecules. The cyclic molecules have a photoreactive group and a hydrophilizing group which makes the polyrotaxane hydrophilic. In the composition, this polyrotaxane has been dissolved in the multi-component dispersion medium.</p> |
