PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiver that can prevent crosstalk and deterioration in reception voice accurately tuning to a frequency at a transmission side.SOLUTION: A radio receiver 1 comprises: a local oscillation circuit 5 for setting a reception frequency; a filter 7 that is able to change pass bandwidth that passes a received signal in order to remove disturbing waves from the received signal; and auto-tuning means that detects frequency deviation between the reception frequency set by the local oscillation circuit 5 and an actually received reception signal, and sets the reception frequency of the local oscillation circuit 5 such that the frequency deviation will be small. After completion of auto-tuning operation processing by the auto-tuning means, the pass bandwidth of the filter 7 is changed narrower than before the operation. According to this configuration, after capture of an objective signal and execution of auto-tuning operation, the filter 7 for removing the disturbing waves is automatically changed into an IF filter 7 with narrower bandwidth. This removes bothersome filter switching work and enables excellent communication with fewer disturbing waves. |
