PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy plate which has a large shear plane in a cut surface thereof with minimized tearing, a method of manufacturing the same, and a mold. SOLUTION: The magnesium alloy plate 11 is a plate of magnesium alloy which is subjected to cut process, including a shear plane 11s formed from the main surface side to the middle in the thickness direction in a cut surface 11c, and a fracture surface 11b formed to be inclined from the middle in the thickness direction to the reverse surface side by tearing the plate 11. The length of the shear plane 11s in the thickness direction of the plate 11 is 0.3 mm or more, and the distance from a virtual plane obtained by extending the shear plane 11c to the reverse surface side of the plate 11 to a boundary between the fracture surface 11b and the reverse surface of the plate 11 is 0.1 mm or less.
