A portable terminal and a control method thereof are provided to increase convenience by promptly connecting to a webpage address corresponding to personal information when a user inputs the personal information during Internet connection. An Internet connecting screen is displayed(S100). When personal information is inputted to an address input window of the Internet connection screen, phone number data corresponding to the inputted personal information is displayed by calling a phonebook database(S120). A connected webpage screen is displayed by using a webpage address selected among the phone number data(S180). |
