<p>The present invention relates to a portable device, which enables a user to set up a timer or an alarm more conveniently and accurately, and a control method thereof. To achieve this, a portable device according to an embodiment includes a display unit, a sensor unit sensing a touch input to the display unit, and a processor controlling the display unit and the sensor unit. The processor displays an unlock interface for unlocking a lock state when the portable device is in the lock state, wherein the unlock interface includes a current time indicator displaying current time information, wherein the current time indicator includes a first region indicating current hour unit information and a second region indicating current minute unit information. The processor displays, in one direction, at least one timer setting object corresponding to time units in at least one of the first and second regions when a first touch input is sensed from at least one of the first and second regions, and sets up a timer according to a second touch input when the second touch input to the timer setting object is sensed.</p> |
