A compressor is provided to minimize limitation on installing of the compressor by disposing a flywheel in a space formed between a cylinder housing and an input shaft so that the entire length of the compressor is reduced in an axial direction. A compressor comprises a cylinder housing(3), a driving shaft(4), an input shaft disposed in parallel to the driving shaft, and a flywheel(7) disposed on the input shaft. A discharge passage(19) is disposed on a portion of the cylinder housing vertical to a plane including the driving shaft and the input shaft, and is connected with a pressure chamber of the cylinder housing. The flywheel is disposed on the portion of the input shaft, which is parallel to the driving shaft. |
