a wall area and a landing area including a first surface and an opposing second surface, together defining a fluid flow channel; and a first and second plurality of wires extending from the first and second surfaces, respectively, and being formed of a metal and a metal alloy, and each of the plurality of wires having a density of 105 to 107 wires per square centimeter of the landing area, an average cross-sectional dimension of 0.01 to 500 μm and an average longitudinal dimension of 0.1 to 1,000 μm. |
