摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling the starting and braking of a wind power generator, the apparatus including a servo motor and a clutch to start blades by commercial electricity at low-speed rotation of the blades according to low wind speed or at high-speed rotation of the blades according to strong wind, or to mechanically brake the blades at high wind speed. The apparatus according to the present invention includes: a nacelle housing formed into a hollow pipe shape and fixed to an upper end of a tower installed on the ground at a given height; a generator installed at one side of a front end of the nacelle housing to convert mechanical energy of a rotor to electric energy, and having a rotation shaft to which blades are installed; a generator fixing shaft for supporting and fixing the generator to the nacelle housing; a generator link gear installed to one side of the generator and formed with teeth on an inner race; the servo motor fixed to the generator fixing shaft by a fixing bracket and rotated forward or reverse by the application of power; the clutch installed to one side of the servo motor to transmit or interrupt the power by the forward or reverse rotation of the servo motor; and a clutch link gear installed on a center shaft of the clutch and meshed with teeth formed on the inner race of the generator link gear to drive the generator link gear forward or reverse, thereby starting or braking the generator.
