The present invention relates to a method and a system for river facility maintenance using a near field communications (NFC). The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: a) automatically running an application for river facility maintenance when a mobile terminal contacts a NFC tag attached to a river facility; b) displaying a screen for selecting river facilities to be managed; c) receiving and displaying the information on the river facility with the corresponding tag when the mobile terminal reads the information of the NFC tag; and d) displaying a plurality of inspection items and a checklist for the corresponding river facility on the screen and saving the same in a river facility information DB via a management server.
