The method involves transmitting a microwave frequency signal of a specific frequency using a measurement antenna (210) to a set of reflectors (112). The microwave frequency emitted by the antenna is multiplied by a series of impulses to widen a spectrum of the microwave frequency signal. The widened spectrum of the microwave frequency signal is received at another specific frequency. A phase relocated received signal is calculated using the former frequency. Displacement of the reflectors is obtained from a phase calculated for a set of positions of the reflectors. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a reflector (2) a system for measurement of relative displacement of reflectors (claimed) with regard to a measurement antenna.
