An objective of the present invention is to provide a sealing apparatus of a heat treating furnace, in which the sealing apparatus making contact with both side surfaces of the carousel roll in the heat treating furnace to block heat can have effective sealing performance even at a high temperature, and can be operated to be maintained in a superior contact state even if the carousel roll or the sealing apparatus is abraded or partially deviates. Therefore, the sealing apparatus of the heat treating furnace according to the present invention is installed between both side portions of the carousel roll and a wall structure of the heat treating furnace to block heat leaking from a gap between the lateral side of the carousel roll and the wall structure of the heat treating furnace. The sealing apparatus includes: a refractory block arranged in parallel to the carousel roll in a longitudinal direction; a guide support fixedly installed in the wall structure of the heat treating furnace to support the refractory block and to guide the movement of the refractory block to make contact with and be separated from the carousel roll; and a driving unit to move back and forth the refractory block with respect to the guide support so that the refractory block can make contact with the carousel roll and can be separated from the carousel roll. |
