The cradle comprises first and second frames (1 and 2) in the form of an inverted "U", the legs thereof crisscrossing and being connected to one another by sliding clamps (9) in the crisscrossing points (7). Above said crisscrossing points, the structure has a third frame (3a) supporting a basket (3). The third frame (3a) is hinged to opposite points (8a) of the legs of the second frame (2) and linked to the first frame (1) so that altogether there are at least three connecting points between said first, second and third frames (1, 2, 3a). An element (6) having means to adjustably join both parts of said first and second frames (1, 2) is provided beneath the crisscrossing points (7), said element fixing the degree of opening between the frames thereby regulating the height of the basket (3).
