This mobile guidance device guides a walker along a route to a destination, and has a detection means for detecting current position, a vibrating means for vibrating the mobile guidance device, and a control means for guidance along the route, through control of vibration of the mobile guidance device by the vibrating means. The control means varies the mode of vibration of the vibrating means, according to whether the current position is situated on the route, or the current position is not situated on the route.
