The present invention relates to a backup roll chock of a rolling mill apparatus, and more specifically, to a backup roll chock of a rolling mill apparatus able to increase wear resistance of upper and lower parts of the backup roll chock and to improve maintainability. Regarding a chock equipped in both end parts of backup roll located in a lower side of a work roll and installed inside a housing of a rolling mill apparatus, the chock comprises a main body; a side liner attached to a side part of the main body; a liner accommodating groove formed in the center of the lower main body; a lock bar liner of material SCM440, attached to the liner accommodating groove; and a hard liner attached to the lock bar liner, heat-processed by a heat treatment method of nitrification+MIPOX. |
