The present invention relates to a method for selecting content through a touchscreen display and, more specifically, to a method and an apparatus for selecting a plurality of content including a text with a small number of inputs on a touchscreen display. The method for selecting content through a touchscreen display according to the present invention comprises the steps of: displaying at least a part of an electronic document on the touchscreen display; detecting a first input for a first position on the touchscreen display; detecting a second input for a second position on the touchscreen display; and selecting content between positions on the electronic document corresponding to the first and second positions, respectively. The present invention enables a user to conveniently select content through an intuitive gesture input on the touchscreen display. |
