PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which is capable of correcting the curling of a recording medium and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: The fixing device includes a rotating body 64, an endless belt 66 revolving while holding a recording medium P between the endless belt 66 and the rotating body 64, a pressure member 80 arranged on the inner peripheral side of the endless belt 66 and pressurizing the endless belt 66 toward the rotating body 64, and a conveyance roll 52 arranged on the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the recording medium P with respect to the rotating body 64 and conveying the recording medium P. The pressure member 80 has a contact forming part 82A bringing the recording medium P into contact with the rotating body 64 and a pressure part 82B pressurizing the endless belt 66 toward the rotating body 64 on the downstream side from the contact forming part 82A in a rotational direction. The contact forming part 82A is located on the upstream side in the rotational direction from the contact point T in the rotating body 64 of a common tangent passing through the side where the pressure member 80 is arranged of the rotating body 64 out of the common tangent of the rotating body 64 and the conveyance roll 52 as seen from side. The pressure part 82B is located on the downstream side from the contact point T in the rotational direction. |
