PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control technique capable of detecting that a communication device installed on a network is transferred to a different network and limiting a communication function of the communication device.SOLUTION: A communication device connected to a home network 3 comprises: an equipment information acquisition section 101 which detects equipment 32 connected to the home network 3 and acquires equipment information on the detected equipment 32; a change value deciding section 102 which acquires the equipment information when a communication device 1 is started up or new equipment is connected to the home network 3, compares the acquired equipment information with the equipment information acquired before acquiring the equipment information of the new equipment, and decides a change value with respect to the home network 3 on the basis of a comparison result; and a predetermined process limiting section 103 which limits execution of a predetermined process through the home network 3 when the decided change value exceeds a threshold.
