<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire which uses a carcass cord composed of cellulose fiber and nonetheless achieves high durability of the carcass cord without particularly involving an increase in tire weight, and consequently exhibits excellent performance as a high performance tire required to have high driving stability when traveling at high speed.SOLUTION: The pneumatic radial tire is formed by using in a carcass, a carbon nanotube-reinforced cellulose fiber cord composed of the cellulose fiber reinforced by containing a carbon nanotube, carbon nanotube-reinforced cellulose fiber cord having a strength of 900-1,200 MPa, an elastic modulus of 30-70 GPa and a twist multiplierαof 2,800-4,000 Here, the twist multiplierα=N×√T, N:the twist number per 10 cm of fiber cord length, and T:fineness (dtex) of the fiber cord.</p> |
