PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous solution that may provide an ink which has a preferable color tone as a black color ink and a high print density in a long wavelength region and excellently inhibits bronzing in recorded images when various recorded materials are used.SOLUTION: An aqueous solution contains at least one of azo compounds represented by the general formula (1) described in the specifications and salts thereof.
