PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion member for exhibiting an optical characteristic to achieve the improvement of appearance and the maintenance of emission luminance, and a semiconductor light-emitting device using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a wavelength conversion member for converting the wavelength of at least part of incident light and emitting an outgoing beam of a wavelength different from the incident light, wherein the wavelength conversion member is characterized in that the wavelength conversion member has a planar structure including at least one kind of phosphor for absorbing at least part of the incident light and emitting the outgoing beam of a wavelength different from the incident light, and a resin for holding the phosphor, the planar structure having an irregularity in at least part thereof, an arithmetic average roughness (Ra) of the irregularity being 0.5 μm to 1.5 μm inclusive. |
