Disclosed are a system and a method for preventing drive-by hacking and a medium having a computer-readable program recorded to execute the method. The system for preventing drive-by hacking includes a judgment reference storage unit; a hacking attempt detection unit; and an alarm signal output unit, wherein the judgment reference storage unit stores a preset reference on the judgment of drive-by hacking attempts, the hacking attempt detection unit compares the status of a message sent through a gateway of a vehicle with the preset reference to detect a drive-by hacking attempt, and the alarm signal output unit outputs a preset alarm signal if the drive-by hacking attempt is detected. The message sent through the gateway which mediates a network of the vehicle is analyzed to understand the drive-by hacking attempt and send the attempt to a user, thereby preventing the hacking of an electronic device in the vehicle through a communication inside or outside the vehicle and taking prompt action if a hacking attempt is detected.
