The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for message notification through user recognition. The purpose of the present invention is to notify a user of messages, which are not checked at a moment when the user is recognized in a home network environment, by a voice when the messages occur while the user is out of a house or inside a house in a location where a notification message cannot be recognized. In order to achieve the purpose, the apparatus for message notification comprises: a general phone to send and receive a general call; an intercom to send and receive a call between residences; a guard phone to send and receive a call to and from a guard office; a residence building microphone to announce notifications and emergencies of the residence building; a residence and common entrance to give visitor and delivery information; and a wall pad to receive a call or message from a smartphone to transmit a message. The wall pad includes a detecting sensor module to detect a resident within a detection range inside a residence in an infrared or thermal detection method; a microphone module to detect a resident voice; a camera module to detect a resident movement within a detection range; a setting module to set or release the wall pad in a desired mode by a user; and a database to store data when an event occurs in each module. |
