Provided are an electric circuit-use core for which loss is insignificant, which is less liable to magnetic saturation, which is capable of miniaturization and allows a large current to flow, and for which a high-frequency range is broad, as well as a manufacturing method for the core. The electric circuit-use core (1) is a dust core formed by compression molding or injection molding which uses, as magnetic material, iron-based amorphous material, cobalt-based amorphous material, or sendust material, and is made to be a transformer core, a choke core, or a core of a reactor. The electric circuit-use core (1) comprises a cylindrical post portion (2) and a binder portion (3).
