The present invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for scheduling a CBS message. The present invention can reduce, by dynamically adjusting a bandwidth occupied for scheduling a message, power consumption of a UE for monitoring a CBS message. The method comprises: at a starting time of a first scheduling period, if at least one CBS message needs to be delivered at a later scheduling period, obtaining a first scheduling bandwidth, the first scheduling bandwidth being a maximum bandwidth that can be occupied by a scheduling message delivered in the first scheduling period; and within a limit of the first scheduling bandwidth, setting, at least according to a bandwidth that needs to be occupied by a first CBS message delivered in a second scheduling period, a first scheduling message delivered in the first scheduling period, the first scheduling message directly or indirectly pointing to the second scheduling period. |
