<p>The invention provides miniaturized and portable designs of microscopes that minimize space requirements of microscopes to allow miniaturization, portability and other special functionalities. Embodiments of this invention are directed to an optical design of compact microscope systems that can be fit into a small space by strategically rearranging the objective lens and by folding its optical path between objective lens and image sensor.</p> |
